I have deep concerns about the Proposed rule change by the options clearing corporation concerning its process for adjusting certain parameters within its proprietary system for calculating margin requirements during periods when the product it clears and markets it serves experience high volatility.

I DO NOT support this rule change as this change decreases market transparency and creates and unfair marketplace for participants. It is unfair in the sense that as a retail investors we are forced to deal with the consequences of our high risk trades and will have accounts forcibly liquidated if we violate margin requirements. But the OCC and can simple ADJUST their margin requirements to avoid margin calls??? YOU CANNOT HAVE FAIR MARKETS WITH THIS RULE CHANGE. The ability to adjust margin requirements introduces a conflict of interest never seen before in the markets. As this codifies TOO BIG TO FAIL. The damage will be devastating and it WILL be at the expense of retail investors. Always is.

Reject this rule change and hold the OCC and ALL market participants accountable for the risk they take on.

Thank you
