I wanted to comment on the new rule SR-OCC-2024-001, especially regarding the low margin requirements for short hedge funds. These are definitely not strong enough for those involved in short selling. I understand that short hedge funds play a role in the market and can be risky. Right now, we mostly use capital requirements to limit risks, but stronger margin requirements are needed too. Currently, with just capital requirements, these funds might take too many risks. Higher margins would help prevent this and keep the market stable. I suggest the OCC increase margin requirements for these funds to better control risks. I hope the OCC considers this feedback to make the financial markets safer. Sincerely, Andersen Kusuma
