Good morning, I am writing to express my concerns regarding the proposed rule change by the OCC to adjust metrics for calculating margin requirements during periods of high volatility. I am a long term investor who is deeply invested in the stability and fairness of the market. In reviewing the proposed change, it appears to shield risky financial positions from the normal risk of margin calls during high volatility. Normally, Margin requirements serve as a protective measure. By restricting this, there will be a lack of transparency and inherent conflict of interest associated with Financial Risk.
