August 3, 2022 One sided contracts will distort the market. Current values are based on the assumption that sold contracts have buyers. Making one sided contracts will mean that shares sold short won't need to be reconciled. This is damaging to regular investors who have reasonable expectations that short sellers must eventually buy the shares they sold. Please do not pass this and instead protect regular investors.
