February 11, 2023 I am firmly against the proposed changes in SC-OCC-2022-012. This is an attempt to reduce or erase risk protections for the OCC by making risk mitigation measures weak. This proposal also weakens collateral requirements in this time of economic uncertainty. I am also strongly against changes to legal policy that cobtain redacted information, hidden from public view. A building distrust exists for the entire financial system. Now more than ever, transparency is necessary in repairing the damage that has been done and rebuilding the trust of the people.
