im against this proposal. anyone who makes a bad trade deserves to get margin called. u mess up, u deal with the consequences. plain and simple. people are only looking to reduce margin calls because they see the writing on the wall, they realize they made terrible trades and now they want to not pay the consequences of their ineptitude. if anything, u should be making the rules MORE strict. imagine thinking murder would self regulate...HA! Criminals are gonna crime and no/very little regulations HELPS CRIMINALS DO MORE CRIME, DUH. find yourselves on the correct side of history or suffer the consequences. dont say no one told u.
