I am completely against this proposal, changing the rules for how margin calls are made will incentivize clearing members to take on excessive risk and lead to another global financial crisis. This proposal aims to remove margin requirements for bad actors, by letting the OCC cherry pick margin requirements and removes the free market's ability to properly punish those who take on extreme risk. Moreover, there are far too many redactions for the public to properly review this proposal; this, the proposal should be axed based on this fact alone. Craig.
