I am a long term Ethereum investor. Even though I advocate for self custody, I support this ETF because it will provide exposure to ETH the asset without the technical knowledge or responsibility that self custody requires. I believe Ethereum will be the underlying infrastructure of many businesses in the future. The general public and institutions should be able to get investment exposure in a secure and easy to access method as long as the ETF custody method has audits for security and quantity of the asset. Also, since taxes are paid on gains there should be access to ETH through tax beneficial retirement accounts like a Roth IRA.
