Dear SEC officials, I am a citizen of Peru, a lawyer, and a certified public accountant with a keen interest in Bitcoin investments. I have come across some comments made by citizens from various countries urging the SEC not to authorize Bitcoin ETFs, supposedly on the grounds of "threatening democracy." I respectfully find this reasoning to be utterly ridiculous and lacking any economic, legal, or political basis. With the utmost respect, I believe that the prevention of illicit activities cannot be achieved by simply prohibiting Bitcoin; rather, it requires intelligence actions and the promotion of education and progress among nations. On the contrary, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have facilitated the creation of accessible income sources for individuals worldwide with internet access. This, in essence, implies a more efficient wealth distribution. Therefore, I kindly request your support for the authorization of Bitcoin ETFs. Sincerely,
