To the SEC: A spot Bitcoin ETF is long overdue. The US should be leading in the field of financial and investment innovation, rather than watching as others move ahead. It would be great to finally see a spot Bitcoin ETF here, and given that Grayscale was one of the first to launch a Bitcoin investment vehicle (through GBTC), they seem like a natural fit for a new bitcoin ETF. In addition, the conversion of GBTC to an ETF would be much more equitable for a lot of the investors involved, given that it would eliminate the deep discount GBTC is currently trading at.
