We are retired, and the interest we earn from our bank retirement account is no more than three pennies per pay period. We cannot afford a Jumbo $10,000 Five Year CD, which only pays 1/2 % and has penalties If you need cash for unexpected needs. We have not lost any money on GBTC, and it follows a volatility pattern of higher highs and higher lows. Dear SEC. When you approve the conversion of the GBTC trust to an ETF, the management fees will most likely be lower and increase the performance of the fund.
