Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. With a Bitcoin futures ETF already in existence it makes more sense than ever to allow conversion of GBTC to a Bitcoin ETF. It will in fact allow more regulatory oversight of Bitcoin transactions and also provide an easier way for smaller investors to buy the ETF and get all transactions duly recorded cia 1099's, which in turn will be easier for the IRS to keep track and monitor.
