I am writing to support the approval of spot ETFs for cryptocurrencies generally and Bitcoin in particular. I invest in Grayscale's GBTC Futures-based ETF because it's the closest thing to Bitcoin that I know of that I can access through traditional financial platforms. I would not choose the futures-based product if a spot ETF existed. The absence of a spot ETF is limiting access to an increasingly important asset class, and it is unnecessarily increasing my risk profile as I am forced to exchange platforms like Binance.US, Crypto.com, Coinbase, as well as other D-Apps to ensure that I have the ability to enter and exit investments in a timely manner with such a volatile asset.
