Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. By doing so, it would allow more interested individuals who may otherwise lack the technical resources to hold their own keys or open up an account with an exchange, to simply purchase GBTC through their brokerage account / IRA / 401K plans to gain exposure to this new asset class. It would also allow more registered investment advisors to offer this product to their clients since it has been thoroughly vetted by your rigorous internal process.
