Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. ***While protecting investors is important, the conservative approach towards fintech innovation puts American investors behind the curve and drives capital offshore to the jurisdictions with more flexible investing and taxation policies. If We the people aka the government will embrace new technology and create proper regulatory frameworks i.e. no taxation on digital capital gains that are spent inside USA it will only benefit the economy, the people and will accelerate innovation.
