Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. Bitcoin needs regulation and it needs to be appropriate and swift. A liquid ETF similar to commodities and other physical based products is entirely appropriate. The companies applying for these types of products need to be large and sophisticated. The lack of regulation has caused a lot of harm in smaller areas of the crypto market, where individuals have been able to invest with smaller companies in shady products.
