How is it good for retail investors, which the SEC is tasked to protect, to give this power to a single individual at their discretion based on their feelings? The NYSE is run by Jeffrey Sprecher, who's wife is a Senator that received millions in campaign donations from Ken Griffin, who runs the Country's largest Market Maker and Hedge Fund. How could this possibly be in the best interest of the retail investor? Opposed.
