Honestly, I feel like this isn't being changed to protect retail investors, but is being done to protect institutions instead. We as retail investors stepped in to protect American companies going bankrupt from the actions of predatory hedge funds. We are trying to level the playing field, but the government is taking the side of the hedge fund. Let me guess, trading on the lit exchange will get suspended, but alternate trading systems will continue. I'm sure you can see how suspicious this appears. Can you once allow the little guy to win? We played by the rules and we are winning, so now you change the rules. This isn't fair, but you guys don't care. After this has run its course, I will never invest in the stock market again, unless market manipulation is ceased. This includes dark pool abuse, PFOFs and naked shorting. Please do what's right, before I lose complete faith in the system.
