This rule does not protect all investors just the big guys who benefit from this halt of trading. If people lose faith in the system it could be a worse economical downturn than letting the bad guys suffer for their actions that have spanned YEARS. Support your investors and make the market fair to everyone, not just the people who pay you to keep your mouths shut.
