Subject: File No. SR-NYSE-2021-60
From: Jamie Tufanio

October 15, 2021

As a retail investor I vehemently oppose this filing. Having seen trading suspended by different brokerages in recent memory, an act that severely harmed my own financial interests, and with little to no action by SEC on my behalf or on the behalf of retail investors, there is no faith that these powers will be used as stated in the filing.

Instead, there is a perception that these powers may be used arbitrarily, or in the favour of institutions caught in a bad play.

This is exactly how you lose retail investors faith in all markets. A new generation is becoming more aware of trading potentials and they are rapidly losing faith for investing or the SEC ability to actually keep retail investors safe. The growing opinion is that the SEC is only concerned with big business and letting large market making hedge funds control who will become profitable and when.
