So to summarize what Ive read here, some get to keep trading while others do not.
This is not transparent, and certainly not fair or balanced, and will OBVIOUSLY be exploited by bad actors no matter the intent of the rule.
Might as well then make the markets 24/7 and the institutions get to trade all weekend while the rest of the world waits for Monday. I wouldnt trust leaving my securities in the hands of the market overnight.
