I think its wrong for this rule change to go into effect. The NYSE or any other entity should not be able to arbitrarily halt trading all the while being able to continue to trade in dark pools. If trading is to be stopped then it should be universal. Why should only financial institutions get to benefit behind the scenes while retail is left holding the bag? I oppose this rule change.
