Public interest could mean anything, its too much discretion for one person. Does the CEO have vested interests (stock holdings) that could cause a conflict of interest are they paid enough to avoid bribes have they had a background check to avoid blackmail? As written, this is too arbitrary a power , destroys trust in the free market as it is a measure that could be used to manipulate the market. This rule should not be instituted in current form.
