I believe that this change is another instance of large institutions avoiding responsibility for their actions. I understand that businesses and individuals have different rights and responsibilities but we should all be held accountable at some point. Kicking the can on bad bets and hiding behind bought and paid for changes will be looked poorly upon by future generations. Please break this cycle We can't possibly continue down this destructive path that prioritizes a miniscule percentage of investors and still expect the greatest path for wealth generation to survive.
