Hi, I vote against this rule as it allows bad players to delay paying for fail-to-delivers, instead of having a market buy-in we're going to see traders/investors paying only the difference, that is not fair at all, rather than easing the can-kicking of FTDs, you should be forcing the trader/investor holding the FTD to close at any price, that's how you make a fair market. This seems quite obvious ... if you take a big risk and lose, you should pay the price and not have a way to avoid paying indefinitely... Sincerely, an investor that believes in simple and fair markets. Ali.
