As a concerned retail investor its time to get to the root cause of why you would even need to introduce a rule such as this. Its time to put an end to all of the corruption taking place in the market. If it were a fair market you wouldnt need such a rule. This is just another loophole to help protect the ones who are putting the market at risk for fire sales, margin calls, squeezes etc. if there was such a concern why wasnt this handled after the crash of 2008? Why is this just now being brought to the table? Its time to stop using rules as band aides and address the real issues at hand
