I object to this new rule. It is unfair to retail investors and the companies who get shorted into bankruptcy by the hedge funds etc who use fake/synthetic shares to manipulate the market and push share prices down.
Retail buyers of stocks and shares need to be protected and this new rule in my opinion does not do that.
