I strongly support the ratification of SR-NSCC-2021-801. I've been a retail investor since March 2009. That was at the lowest point in the market in recent history brought on by collapse of the housing market. The passing of this rule will provide the oversight needed to allow transparency in today's market environment and will add a level of accountability for those who engage in short selling/stock borrowing. This will attract more people to invest long term.
I would also like to see stronger penalties enacted for non compliance and violation of this rule.
