I am writing to express my support for SR-NSCC-2021-801. I would like to see this rule passed and implemented immediately.
I believe that this rule will strengthen the oversight that can be provided by the DTCC and/or components of the NSCC. Making sure that members are keeping accurate accounts of their trading actions is of paramount importance. Given the rapid pace of modern trading, moving the cadence of these account checks to occur daily makes sense for all parties concerned.
Lastly, I would also like to see stronger penalties enacted for non compliance and violation of this and all rules.
