As an Investor from Germany I'm currently seeing with worries that America has trading rules which allow Hedgefunds to STILL do naked shorting, short ladder attacks and reset FTDs by buying ITM Calls and other methods which overall exposes the global stock market to the huge risk of a worldwide collapse. In my opinion hundreds of good firms were shorted to bankrupcy due to the lack of proper regulations which protect the Retail Investor and not the high-risk taking Hedgefunds which will make huge tax-free profits for shorting firms to bankrupcy. Therefore I'm really expecting that America finally has come to the conclusion that we need new rules for a better and safer stock exchange and will take the worldwide leading role by setting up regulations like SR-NSCC-2021-801.
