I am in full support of this regulation. I hope the SEC looks upon it as favorably as I do. The hope is that this will help to promote a more free and fair market by increasing liability on bad actors within the system eliminating the greatest amount of bad practices that affect free competition.
Those that seek to exploit the system for personal gain at the expense of others should be punished, and their actions displayed to serve as an example to others. Thus showing that any abuse will be discovered, investigated and punished. While more should be done, this regulation is a step in the right direction to show every citizen that the laws will have to be respected by all participants in the free market.
