I am an individual retail investor and I would like to expressing my opinion in regards to this new proposed rule SR-NSCC-2021-801.
I believe that this rule - IF enacted - it is a step in the right direction towards accountability for these who engage I. The short spellings/stocks borrowing programs. it is time for an update to the current RegSHO close out requirements and I believe that this SLR change in process from Monthly to Daily settlements in progress.
I would like to see this rule passed a s implemented immediately.
Lastly on this ruling, I would like to see. Stronger penalties enacted for non compliance and any severe violations applied of this rule.
