Hello, My name is Gerald Siwi and I am an individual investor. I would like to express my opinion regarding the proposed rule: SR-NSCC-2021-801. I believe that this rule is an excellent step towards accountability for influential entities who engage in the short selling/stock borrowing program. It is time for a modern update to the current RegSHO closeout requirements. I strongly believe that this SLD change in process from Monthly to Daily settlement will restore the confidence of individual retail investors in the stock market and also in its governing agencies/committees. I would like to see SR-NSCC-2021-801 passed and implemented immediately. Lastly on this ruling, I would also like to see more punitive penalties enacted for the negligence, non-compliance, and violation of this rule.
