Dear Sir, As an individual retail investor, I would like to express my opinions towards the new proposed rule SR-NSCC-2021-801. Personally, I believe the subject mentioned rule - ONCE ENACTED - will be a step towards the right direction regarding the accountability for those who engage in the short-selling/stock-borrowing program. It is time for an update to the current RegSHO closeout requirements and I believe that this SLD change in process from Monthly to Daily settlement is in progress. It would be great to see this rule passed as soonest possible and be implemented with immediate effect in place. Last but not least, I also would like to see stronger penalties imposed for the non-compliance and violation against this rule in the ruling. Thank you for your time & consideration in this matter.
