I am an individual retail investor and would like to express my support of the proposed rule SR-NSCC-2021-801. The proposed rule, if enacted, will hold those who engage in the short selling/stock borrowing program, accountable for ensuring the rules are followed and adhered to. Additionally, an update to the current RegSHO close out requirement should be changed from monthly to daily settlement to reinforce greater accountability. Greater penalties should be enacted for non compliance or violation to the rule. In summary, I am in support of the proposed SR-NSCC-2021-801 rule. Thank you for your consideration.
