For United States Securities and Exchange Commission, I am in favor of NSCC-2021-801 to make the market more fair for all parties involved. I am an individual retail Investor and believe in this rule. If enacted, it is a step in the right direction towards accountability for those who engage in the short selling program. I would like to see this rule passed and implemented immediately, as there are suspicions of current market manipulations that can be caught by enacting this rule. Lastly on this ruling, I would like too see stronger penalties enacted for non-compliance and violation of this rule, as the current fines are marginal for large players on the market.
