I can not believe you guys allow people to short the market and screw over ordinary people investing in stocks. This crap has gone on too long and there needs to be rules and regulations in place to stop this activity. Furthermore, several brokerages are now apparently siding with short sellers, restricting people from trading stocks that have been heavily shorted over the past few years. In the current era where many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, it is unfathomable that institutions are allowed to get away with basically robbing business owners of their money. The current situation should have never been allowed to happen and hedge funds should be punished for pushing our country further into this economic situation. I am willing to bet that the whole stock market collapse back last March was caused by these hedge funds screwing people over, betting businesses would fail based upon the COVID situation. How many people lost their jobs? How many businesses went under? And how can you guys have a clean conscience knowing that you have contributed to the situation? PLEASE BAN SHORT SELLING IMMEDIATELY.
