There is no benefit to society to further obfuscate short selling rules and reporting information. These only benefit manipulators who have already extracted more wealth from the people than this nation can handle. Look at the stats or outside of your ivory tower- the effects are see in wage gaps, poverty, quality of life, education, infant death -- it has perverted every facet of society. Allowing this to continue is all but ensuring that the America dream remains dead, killed by the greedy. Passing these rules makes you more than complacent... It makes you guilty.
