hello, and thank you for an opportunity to add my comments to this rule proposal. I am an average retail investor without a sophisticated knowledge of the financial industry, but as this law proposal has been explained to me I see it as a bad law and not at all in the interests of retail investors. As I understand it, instead of bad actors being held financially accountable for poor investment choices, this is a cheat for them to avoid getting liquidated. The act of passing longs back and forth in exchange for cash whenever a member may be subject to a margin fail is not a free market. These are the actions of a cartel serving to insulate itself from trouble. I would first like to know what it is these members have been doing and not being held accountable for so long that would overexpose them to such a large degree and now that they are in trouble laws are being proposed to protect them from harm. This sounds terrible. Not only do I not want this law put into effect, but I also want real consequences for activities that have put the financial markets of this country at risk. Again, thank you for an opportunity to comment on this proposal never getting put into place.
