No to making the exception for SpaceX to enter the indices immediately. The current system works just fine to protect investors. If somebody wants SpaceX in their portfolio right now, they can buy it at the IPO. This is clearly a play by the insider holders of SpaceX to create artificial and immediate demand/liquidity for the stock from institutions like Vanguard.
