I do not believe that corporate directors should be chosen on the basis of irrelevant surface characteristics, but instead on merit and on the values of the corporation itself. Please do not allow NASDAQ to impose this ridiculous, irrelevant and arbitrary diversity requirement on the companies that trade with it. NASDAQ should stop trying to impose its own views on everyone else, and the SEC should tell it so.
