Notice of Filing and Immediate Effectiveness of Proposed Rule Change to Amend the Exchange's Data Fees at Rule 7023

https://www.sec.gov/rules/sro/nasdaq.shtml

NASDAQ does not see the consequences of their actions. they allow financial participants access to invisible information, they allow advantages to HFT and marketmakers.
and then the # of retail subscribers declines?
perhaps NASDAQ should stop paying maker/taker fees.  we don't need all this fake volume that is designed to bamboozle us.  exchanges don't need to pay HFT/marketmakers to take our $.

there is nothing so say that the present fees are the right prices, nothing to say the increased fees are the right price.

i think the exchanges should move toward presenting a real market, rather than a fake market.
