I am an individual investor. Payment for Order Flow (PFOF) brokers and wholesalers do not represent my interests. PFOF gives these institutions a direct incentive to prioritize their own profits over fair execution-effectively swindling real Americans like myself and the millions of others who are fed up with a rigged financial system. I reject the claim that these brokers and wholesalers act in retail investors' best interests simply because they 'handle a significant portion of retail orders.' This is like arguing that slumlords serve tenants' best interests because they 'provide a significant portion of affordable housing.' Dominating a market does not equate to serving it ethically. Just as slumlords exploit tenants by cutting corners, PFOF brokers exploit investors by skimming value from their trades-all while pretending to offer 'free' services. A ban on PFOF is long overdue, it's time to restore transparency to our markets. I thank you for your time. - Jacob
