I am in agreement with The FINRA Rule change (SLATE). It will keep all investors informed of the loan information and who is doing the lending and the borrower creating transparency for the investor. A specific stock could not be manipulated there is so much manipulation in the market due to the lack of transparency. The retail investor is hit the hardest. Companies aren't just failing on their own. The stock is being shorted immensely by the securities loans institutions and they benefit by their demise. The SEC is suppose to be there to protect all who engage in the market, not just the rich. So transparency is need so that the public can disseminate The loan information and make an informed decision on who to invest their funds. I am asking that the rule is adopted. It will build a stronger market.
