I object most strenuously to the proposal to exempt certain foreign exchange derivatives from regulation! This is just nonsense -- there is no reason on earth to give foreign exchanges a pass that enables them to pursue the kinds of abuses that led to the near collapse of the global economy. Your job is to regulate speculation -- not aid and abet it.
