Our firm represents Claimants who have been victims of securities negligence or abuse. They are all shocked when they hear that an industry owned organization will hear the case and that one of three arbitrators in every case is a member of the securities industry. The presence of industry arbitrators creates an overwhelming image of bias and should be eliminated. I urge adoption of SR-FINRA-2010-053.
