I have been a member of our local and National NAIFA for over fifty-four years, and unlike most of our brethen I am for changes in the rules governing the marketing of financial products by insurance agents. The industry has a miserable record of self-policing. We need the closer oversight provisions of the SEC and I encourage the committee to make these changes in the rules.
