Hi There,

I am writing this to express my support for the file numbers listed in my subject line. I believe transparency of short positions being provided to the general public but given that these short positions would be presumably self-reported by firms and the well-documented history of firms 'mistakenly' marking their short positions as long I would like to see very substantial and severe fines and punishments implemented if firms provide incorrect information for these reports.

To summarize - I support the rules proposed but would also like to see increased fines and very severe punishments for any firms that provide incorrect data - regardless of whether or not it was 'accidental'. I am tired of fraudulent activities and practices occurring in our markets, especially when it comes to the transparency of short positions.

Thank you for your time and for looking out for the rights of Household Investors. We see you and appreciate your efforts.

Respectfully,

Matthew McMahon
