I don't think we should concern too much with the underlying BTC commodity manipulation.
Crude Oil is a commodity and its majority supply is controlled by the OPEC. Crude Oil would be a case for manipulation, but SEC has allowed for such ETF to be traded.
I think we must be fair to BTC futures and like Crude Oil allow for them to exist.
