I propose that the SEC strongly consider how an Exchange Traded Fund could benefit Bitcoin investors from a security standpoint. I am currently invested in Bitcoin. In order to maintain security of my assets I have to personally keep and secure the private keys. I have a system in place so that my family understands how to access those assets in the event of my death. This is a process that does not make me feel comfortable though. A Bitcoin ETF would add a significant level of security, especially in the case of the CBOE/ Van Eck proposed ETF where there is an insurance portion.
